Dear kiddos,
Our year together was LOADS of fun!We are all blessed with unique talents, passions and gifts, and this week we shared these with our class! We began the week reading about the variety of gifts God has blessed us with:
Then Mrs. Beliveau became a student and the children took turns being the teacher! It was such a joy seeing students light up and share their passions. Check it out!
We kicked off the week, quite literally, with an obstacle course in the gym:
We were taught how to pass and shoot in hockey:
Our ABC Countdown continues to make each day sparkle!
We watched a super YouTube on how to make a simple airplane! The we got busy folding and throwing! The planes were an absolute blast!
Q - Quiet Time in the Chapel
Today we ended a busy day with quiet prayer and reflection as a little classroom community. We love our Chapel!
R - Rhymes and Riddles
We squeezed in a hilarious rhyming book, Rhyme Crime, and warmed our brains with some tricky riddles!
Our students cannot wait to gather in mixed grade groups to engage in Student Faith and Wellness Day tomorrow! The goal of the day is to promote positive mental health and wellness in a faith filled environment, and we cannot be more excited!
What a wonderful way to build community, learn, and have fun!
Our ABC Countdown has certainly made our days together a little extra sparkly and fun!
The students enjoyed relaxing with Chirp, Highlights, Chickadee and more!
N - Nature Walk
Did some exploring in nature! Using "nature trappers" we gathers our treasures as we explored.
Slow down June, you're going too fast!
May has wrapped up, but we are still packing our days with both learning and fun. Our ABC Countdown began last week and was in full swing this week!
E - Exercise & Environmental Exploration
A Nature Scavenger Hunt had us outside exploring God's beautiful Earth! Add "exhaustion" to our letter E day, too!
F - Frisbees with Friends
We had a blast tossing Frisbees to our friends!
G - Games
Look at all of the amazing games we brought from home to enjoy! What a great opportunity to play fairly! It was also a wonderful way to celebrate our last visit from our Linking Generations Grandma, Pani Lynne!
H - Hula Hoops
Our hips were shimmying as we tackled our hula hoop games!
I - Ink Pen
We were excited to set our pencils aside and use real ink! A word search with each of our names made for an awesome "inky" start!
Tournament of Books: Animal Themed
We are squeezing every little bit of joy we can into our last month together, and couldn't resist a Tournament of Books with an animal theme! Each day we'll read two books, vote, and the winner advances. Here is the draw!
