This year our class is blessed with a beautiful opportunity to connect with a senior from our community. Linking Generations partners classes with seniors, forming lasting relationships that benefit everyone!
Today we met our lovely grandma, Pani Lynne! She is a former teacher, active parishioner at OLPH, and all around lovely human!
She read us a silly story:

... and helped us make name tags for our desk so she can get to know everyone!
Before time ran out, we also tackled a little project, beaded decade rosaries! We will learn to pray with them next week.
We look forward to welcoming Pani Lynne on most Wednesdays this school year for art projects, reading, numeracy games, and so much more! This is the beginning of a lovely journey!
