We are God's Masterpiece!

Our theme this year has centered on this beautiful scripture quote from Ephesians, and it has been a meaningful way for us to celebrate the gifts, passions and uniqueness of each and every person in our school!

To finish off the year, we created beautiful canvases, stamped with this scripture quote.

These art pieces remind us that we are truly made with intention by God, who created us in His image and loves us infinitely!

Boys and girls, you truly are a masterpiece. May you always remember that you are created with love by our Father. Share this love with everyone you meet! Be Christ's hands wherever you go and share the masterpiece that you are with the world!

My warmest blessings and love,

Mrs. Beliveau

Celebrating Each Other!

We popped our last balloon and inside it was "Minute To Win It" Games! Competition AND games!?!? Yes, please!

Our first game was "There She Blows". Kids were challenged to blow a cup across the room using a straw! Go kids!!!!!

Next we tackled "Capture The Rainbow"! Students worked together in a relay to separate the jelly beans into colours ... using only one hand! Ahhhhh!

Our next challenge was "Go Fish". Students fanned tissue paper fish across the room into a hula hoop. (Turns out this was Mrs. Beliveau's secret ploy to get cooled off with all that fanning!)

"Cookie Slide" was a hit! We opened our cookies, licked 'em, and stuck 'em to our noggins! Then, using our facial muscles, we wiggled and squidged our faces until the cookie slid into our mouths!

Our faces continued to get stickier for this next game! We smeared a dollop of Vaseline on our noses and a buddy was challenged to throw a cotton ball and make it stick! This one was really hilarious!

"Snack Scramble" had the students building little puzzles from snack boxes. Teamwork all the way!

Once Mrs. Beliveau calmed the competitors, all received amazing awards! Each student was honored for their God-given gifts. Students were thrilled to receive a special word cloud filled with personalised words.

Turns out the fun didn't stop there! We walked to the Ardrossan Rec Complex and spent our afternoon taking part in loads of fun activities on the rink! We enjoyed frisbee golf, scooters, parachute, giant soccer, skipping ropes, checkers, connect four, and SO MUCH MORE!

Our last day together was so much fun! We laughed, played and had a blast!

Making the Most of Our Last Day!!!!!

Boy did we make the most of our last day! It was a blast! We laughed, we were silly, and we enjoyed one another's friendship. Totally. Awesome. Day.

We started our day with Mrs. Beliveau's world-famous year end "Minute to Win It Challenges"!!!! Wahooooo!!!!

We kicked off the competition with "There She Blows", a challenge that has kids blow a plastic cup across the desk with a straw. Intense, right? Hilarity ensued!

Next was "Capture the Rainbow". Using only one hand, athletes separated jelly beans into their colours. Look at the focus!

Then we got busy with "Go Fishing" by fanning a tissue paper fish into a hoop. Ahhhhhh ... enjoy the cool breeze, kiddos!

The competition got incredibly intense (and very silly) with "Cookie Slide". Open your Oreo, lick it, and slap it on your noggin'. Using your facial muscles, wiggle and squish and squidge your face until the cookie reaches your mouth! No hands, kiddos!

"Move That Marshmallow" had us breathing heavily! Using straws and loads of team work, we sucked marshmallows, moving them from one cup to another.

The final game was spectacular! We slopped a big blob of Vaseline on our noses, and then had a pal chuck cotton balls until one stuck! So! Much! Fun!

Once Mrs. Beliveau calmed the competitors, all received amazing awards! Each student was honored for their God-given gifts. Students were thrilled to receive a special word cloud filled with personalized words.

Here are the kids getting hugs and awards!

Because a last day of school obviously needs a hearty dose of farm animals, we enjoyed a visit from a family's new baby goats! So cute!!!

Then we headed over to the Ardrossan Rec Complex for some active, sweaty fun!

Boys and girls,

Always remember you are kind, generous people. Seize every opportunity to be Jesus to others. I truly do believe in each and every one of you. Thank you for blessing me each day this year. Please come back for unlimited hugs and high fives next year!

With my warmest love,

Mrs. Beliveau

Last day! (sniff...)

We popped our last balloon and inside it was "Minute To Win It" Games! Competition and games!?!? Yes, please!

Our first game was "There She Blows". Kids were challenged to blow a cup across the room using a straw! Mrs. Beliveau sure tried to enjoy some of those breezes in our smokin' hot classroom!

Beliveau's secret ploy to get cooled off with more fanning!)

The final challenge had us all gasping for breath! We used straws to move mini-marshmallows from one cup to another. Whew!

Boys and girls, remember how special you are. God has made you unique and has blessed you with countless gifts. Use these gifts to make the lives of others brighter. Please know that I believe in you and I pray that you make this world a kinder place. Remember to stop by for hugs in the Fall!
